About the Artwork

I was impressed by the sight of spring water and tried to express water bursting out and flowing down using my original takaori line construction technique.
I did not weave the bamboo strips but formed the basket by fixing the bamboo strips bent beforehand onto rattan rings. I used three rings of different sizes to express the water dripping and spreading.
