- 1994Learned the basics of bamboo craft from Chikuho Morimura
- 1999Submitted to and selected for the first time at the 46th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition
Becomes Associate Member of the Japan Kogei Association - 2000Learned the basics of urushi lacquer from Hajime Hisamoto. Took a break from making bamboo crafts for 2 years.
