Biography
- 1958Born in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture
- 1981Graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, Seikei University
Started studying ceramics under his father INOUE Manji in April - 1983Selected for the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition for the first time
- 1990Full member, Japan Kogei Association. Selected for the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition 24 times to date after membership
- 1982Submitted to the West Japan Arts and Crafts Exhibition (Submitted to date. Awarded 2 times)
- 1985Selected for the Kyusyu Yamaguchi Ceramics Exhibition, and awarded 10 times to date
Selected for the Saga Prefectural Art Museum, and awarded 5 times in 1998
Selected for the Western Japan Ceramic Exhibition. Received the Excellence Award in 2002 (Minister of Education, Science and Culture Incentive Award) - Received the Excellence Award in 2003 (Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Incentive Award). Also awarded in 2004 and 2005

Style
I use the wheel for shaping, and by applying engraving and glaze, I make every effort to create works where the hakuji (white porcelain) stands out.
