About the Artwork

I used Jindai cedar wood for the main body and used wood joinery techniques to make a deformed decagonal form. The black lines on the fitting part of the box are inlaid Jindai katsura wood and the white lines are Japanese cypress wood. I added round inlays of tin and white-lipped pearl oyster in the Jindai katsura wood inlays.
