About the Artwork
During the cold winter with snow and sleet falling, walking on the streets of Noto was extremely harsh. I expressed the sound of the wind blowing through the pine trees. Within such wind there is also peace. I was inspired by Tohaku Hasegawa's painting, "Pine Forest".
