Comment on Award

I designed this flower basket with the image of a flower with spots. I made the middle part switching from the kushime weave in the lower part of the basket to the openwork ajiro weave on the upper part diagonal and designed it as the calyx of the flower. With advice on colors at study groups in the past, I used golden brown and dark red. I formed the rims of the openwork ajiro weave like flower petals as I did in my artwork in the past.
I am truly honored to receive the Incentive Award and will continue to work harder.
