  Born in Anamizu Town, Hosu County, Ishikawa Prefecture

  Graduated from the Woodcrafts Course at the Ishikawa
  Wajima Vocational High School

  Studied Chinkin under MAE Fumio (Important Intangible
  Cultural Property Holder in Chinkin)
• 1978
  Completed the Chinkin Course at the Ishikawa Prefectural
  Institute of Wajima Lacquer Arts
• 1981
  Designated as a Domestic Researcher for the Agency for
  Cultural Affairs
• 1984
  Attended and completed the Kyushitsu (lacquer ware)
  Course at the Ishikawa Prefectural Institute of Wajima
  Lacquer Arts
