1981Completed Researcher Program at Urushi Lacquer Ware Institute, Kagawa Prefecture

1983Developed lacquer board togidashi technique and later changed the name to irokiri urushi

(raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) technique) and received guidance in the thick shell mother-of-pearl
