    Style

    My major theme is the unification of shapes and patterns. I learn from nature and closely listen to the voice of materials; through this approach I want to create ceramics characteristic of myself and for our own times.

      Born in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture

      Completed his Master’s Degree in Ceramics at the
      Tokyo University of the Arts
    • 1999
      Established his kiln in Nasumachi,Tochigi Prefecture
    • 2008
      Selected for the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition (Selected for the 2010, 2012, 2013 Exhibitions to date )
      Part-time lecturer at the Tohoku University of Art and Design
