I make my artwork trying to show the gentle light coming through the frost glass more beautifully. For this piece, the change of colors was the most important point. I masked and carved the piece several times while imagining the bluish purple appearing as I carved the green layer, to create a piece with depth. To finish, I hand polished the carved lines one by one so that the light would shine through each and every one of the lines. Encouraged by this award, I would like to continue to work on my own unique expression of glass.
