Stencil Dye Nagoya Obi "Bamboo Shoot Energy"

I have considered my kimonos as art, and have created my kimonos and obi sashes by designing them as is if I were drawing what I imagine on canvases. My kimonos designed in this way have been highly appraised, but since I started studying at the Japan Kōgei Association, I have been making kimonos with designs that are easier to understand and that would be loved for a long time as a traditional Japanese craft.
