About the Artwork
Thick deep slanted lines cut in the transparent glass covered with black glass. The inside can be seen from these cut lines.
The cuts on the lid describe little ripples on the water surface. Gold leaf is used on the knob of the lid, giving the piece a delicate appearance as a whole.
