About the Artwork

Following the 66th Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition, I tried chamfering again. As I wanted to show the beauty of the glaze pooled inside, I made a low bowl shaped piece this time. By improving the green glaze, I was able to make the glaze pool a beautiful blue color, and thought how I could show this. This was very sensitive work, as the way the glaze pool turns out depends on how the piece is baked.
