Flower vessel with green glaze.

I made this piece thinking of the powerfulness and freshness of new buds sprouting. This shape was made to show the beautiful glaze pooled inside.
After shaping the piece roundly on the potter's wheel, I pressed it to make an oval shape. As the shape becomes deformed when baked, I had to make several pieces until I finally made the ideal shape.
