About the Artwork

I wanted to try some delicate designs using silver leaf and tried making leaf patterns. I placed bundles of small leaves in three places of the bowl and turned them around to add some movement. The combination of the light cherry pink glaze and silver leaf patterns create a gentle and warm feel.

Techniques : Yuri ginsai
SIlver leaf is applied on the base, glazed and baked.
