Opaque Cloisonné
Opaque Cloisonné is made of white lead and silica used for pottery glaze with pigments added to make a muddy glaze with a matte finish. Its characteristics and texture are totally different from regular glaze.

“Muddy” cloisonné
An opaque cloisonné that looks like matte mud.
Brass wire instead of silver wire is used to create partitions between the different colored enamel.
