As I think every leaf of a plant or tree has its own story, I expressed the vital power of the fresh green leaves.
The wavering sunlight filtering through the trees, the whisper of the leaves and the overflowing vitality that begins with budding.
I placed weft kasuri and hanaori on the gradation of warp threads dyed from white to dark green to create a design where you can feel the flow and depth.
I am very happy and grateful to receive this highly prestigious award.
Having received this award, I will strive to improve my work with greater ambition.
