About the Artwork

As I enjoyed the experience of making Jomon patterns (rope patterns from the pottery made during the Jomon period) when I visited the Jomon Prehistoric Sites in Nagano, I made Jomon patterns with kasuri. I expressed the Jomon period using green for the forest, brown for Jomon pottery, and yellow for the sun.
