About the Artwork

All hand painted. I drew the patterns with wax to resist the dye and dyed the fabric with natural indigo.
Techniques : Sarasa dyeing, batik
Double-woven obi, 60% patterned (no patterns on the parts that are hidden when the obi sash is tied)
