I produce komon (finely patterned) textiles with a traditional dyeing technique using stencils. I am especially good at creating patterns that have depth by overlapping the stencils when dyeing.
I also produce hand-drawn calico printed textiles. I try to create delicate changes in color and movement of the lines.
