    • 1974
      Born in Gifu Prefecture
    • 1999
      Graduated from the Ceramics Course at the Department of Crafts in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts
    • 2001
      Completed his Master’s Degree in Ceramics at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts
    • 2003
      Established his kiln in Sagamihara City
    • 2006
      Assistant at the Ceramics Research Lab at the Tokyo University of the Arts (–March 2008)
    • 2008
      Moved his studio to Higashi-hashimoto, Sagamihara City
