  • 1943 Born in Kyoto, raised in Tokyo
  • 1967 Graduated from Tamagawa University, College of Agriculture
    Studied under Muan Nakazato, Living National Treasure of Karatsu Ware
  • 1972 Became independent and built a kiln in Sarayama, Sue Town, Kasuya County, Fukuoka Prefecture
  • 1974 First solo exhibition at Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, 12 times from this year onward
  • 1975 Lecturer at Asahi Culture Center
  • 1977 Selected for the Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time, selected 31 times from this year onward
  • 1983 Becomes Full Member of the Japan Kōgei Association
  • 2005 Part-time lecturer at Arita College of Ceramics
  • 2009 Selected to submit to "Craftworks of Today in Kyushu and Okinawa – Tradition and Creation" held at Kyushu National Museum
    Invited to submit to the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition
