Biography
- 1956Born in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture
- 1978Graduated from the Department of Painting in the College of Art and Design at the Musashino Art University
- 1980Started the production of ceramics
- 1992Selected for the 32nd Japanese Traditional Art Crafts New Works Exhibition at the first attempt (Eastern Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition as of 2008)
Selected for the the 39th Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition at the first attempt - 1995Becomes full member of the Japan Kogei Association. Submitting art work every year to the Traditional Kogei Chiba Exhibition from this year onward
- 1996Participated in the Ceramics Traditional Kogei Exhibition (formerly the New Ceramic Works Exhibition) at Nihombashi Mitsukoshi. Submitting art work every year from this year onward

Style
I express subtle colors by laying one glaze on top of another. These days, I make and apply copper red and iron red matte glazes.
