Mami Adachi

I tie silk threads to make kasuri patterns and dye them with natural dye. I then weave the textiles to express memorable scenery and sounds. I weave hand spun cotton weft into the raw silk warp to create a tsumugi textile with soft texture that can only be made by hand.
