- 1955Born in Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture
- 1978Graduated from Tokyo Craft Design Institute, Ceramics Major
Joined Happu Pottery Studio (Mie), Design Department. Designed western tableware and made one-off pieces. - 1987Established his own kiln "Shinzan Kiln"

Style
Forming black (gray) clay on the potter's wheel and then line engraving. After drying, the vessel is colored with colored clay and biscuit fired at 850℃. White clay is inlaid in the engraved lines, followed by glazing with transparent glaze and is glost fired at 1280℃.
