Biography
- 1955Born in Wajima City on Feb. 5
- 1973Studied under lacquerware artist Goichi Mitani
- 1976Graduated from Wajima Urushi Art Technical Training Center, Chinkin department
- 1980Selected for the 27th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time
- 1993Designated as "Traditional Craftsman" by the Minister of International Trade and Industry
- 1994Assistant lecturer at Wajima Urushi Art Technical Training Center until 1998
