  • 1977 Graduated from Nagoya University of the Arts, Sculpture Department
    Became an apprentice to 2nd generation KATO Shuntei
    Selected for the first time for the 8th Tōkai Traditional Kōgei Exhibition
  • 1980 Selected for the first time for the 27th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition
  • 1983 Became independent and built a kiln in Aichi
  • 1987 Bowl with Oribe style inlay design purchased by the Japan Foundation
  • 1988 Received the name of “Yowagama” from HASEBE Mitsuhiko
  • 1989 Selected for the first time for the 10th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition (selected twice)
