    Style

    To express the beauty of forms, I paint on clay with different colors and materials, and apply the zogan (inlay) techniques with different line widths. With the goal of enhancing the harmony between the shape and colors, and the dignified balance of lines I am producing my ceramic works.

    • 1980
      Entered the Ceramics Course at the Tekisui Museum of Art. Studied under KONDO Yutaka
    • 1983
      Became one of the staff under ARAKI Takako at the Yomiuri Culture Center
      Selected for the Japanese Shin-Kogei Exhibition
    • 1988
      Established the painting and ceramics school “Studio Keiten”
    • 1992
      Selected for the 47th Shinshou Kogei Exhibition. Selected successively between the 48th and 55th Exhibitions
    • 1996
      Became an affiliate of the Totokai. Submitted to the Totokai 70th Anniversary Exhibition at Tokyo Daimaru
