Studied under lacquerware (makie) artist Shoichiro Tasaki (received the Order of Culture, Medal with Purple Ribbon)
Received the name "Satomi" from her predecessor

Makie Box for Tea Utensils "Tama Sudare" selected for the first time

Becomes Full Member of the Japan Kogei Association
