Biography
- Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa
- 1972Graduated from Visual Design School (Tokyo)
- 1974Learns wired cloisonne techniques from Atsuyoshi Hori, President of cloisonne manufacturer, "Yosai Kogei" while working in the company (– 82)
- 1983Moves to Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture
- 1993Selected for the East Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time (selected 11 times from this year onward)
Selected for the 40th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time (selected 6 times from this year onward) - 1997Submitted to the '97 International Exchange Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibition at Goethe-Institut, Akasaka, Tokyo
- 1998Wired Cloisonne Incense Burner "Sakura (Cherry Blossoms)" to become a commemoration gift for President Kim Dae-jung's wife on her visit to Japan

Style
By using very thin silver wires that are 1.5 mm high and 0.06 mm thick for my wired cloissone, I am able to make very delicate outlines. I produce deep colors by applying layers of translucent glaze and baking,
