Biography
- 1944Born in Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo
- 1959Graduated from Tachikawa Daisan Junior High School, Tachikawa City, Tokyo
- 1962Graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Kogei High School, Woodwork Course
Joined Kamakurabori manufacturer Hakkodo Co., Ltd. and studied wood joinery and hollow work - 1964Selected for the 11th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time
- 1969Studied wood turning at Konishi Woodworking Studio in Shogawa Town, Toyama
- 1971Becomes Full Member of the Japan Kōgei Association
- 1978Starts his own business in woodworking
