Biography
- Studied indigo stencil dyeing at Matsubara Senshoku Koubou (Edogawa, Tokyo) under Fukuyo, Toshio, Hakko and Yoshichi Matsubara.
Learned plant dye techniques from her mother Miyuki
Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, College of Art and Design, Department of Crafts
Completed the Master's Degree in Art at the University of Tsukuba Graduate School - 2001Scholarship student of the Japan Arts Foundation
