  • Studied indigo stencil dyeing at Matsubara Senshoku Koubou (Edogawa, Tokyo) under Fukuyo, Toshio, Hakko and Yoshichi Matsubara
    Learned plant dye techniques from her mother Miyuki
  • Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, College of Art and Design, Department of Crafts
  • Completed the Master's Degree in Art at the University of Tsukuba Graduate School
