    Biography

    • 1994
      Learned the basics of bamboo craft from Chikuho Morimura
    • 1999
      Submitted to and selected for the first time at the 46th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition
      Becomes Associate Member of the Japan Kogei Association
    • 2000
      Learned the basics of urushi lacquer from Hajime Hisamoto. Took a break from making bamboo crafts for 2 years.
      Established the "Chikuyukai” with those who graduated from Haibara Bamboo Craft School
