- 1950Born in Koto Ward, Tokyo as the eldest son of KOBAYAHI Hideo
- 1974Graduated from Meiji University. Studied Edo-kiriko under his father Hideo
- 1985Full member, Japan Kogei Association
- 1987Jury member at the Japan Traditional Art Crafts 7th Section Exhibition
- 1988Jury member at the Japan Traditional Art Crafts 7th Section Exhibition
- 2002Presented an Edo-kiriko bowl to Nobel Prize winner KOSHIBA Masatoshi at the Meiji University Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony
