  • 1962 Graduated from Naniwa Junior College (current Osaka University of Arts)
  • 1975 Started career in pottery after being charmed by Bizen crafts of early modern times
  • 1987 Produced the standing statue at Sabukaze Pottery Center
  • 1997 Solo exhibition at Shibuya Kurodatoen, "Thirteen Animals of the East Asian Zodiac - A Cat who Has Shown up Late" (also in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018)
