    • 1962
      Born in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture
    • 1982
      Studied under Mashiko ware artist Takeo Kawahara
    • 1986
      Studied under Tsuboya ware artist Tsunehide Shimabukuro
      Studied climbing kiln techniques at Living National Treasure Jiro Kinjo's kiln
    • 1988
      Received permission to submit to the Jiro Kinjo Kiln School Exhibition for the first time
    • 1990
      Became independent and established a three-chambered climbing kiln in Matsue City
    • 1995
      Built a two-chambered climbing kiln, starts making vessels for the tea ceremony
    • 1999
      Selected for the 16th Tanabe Museum of Art Grand Award “Arts of the Tea Ceremony” Exhibition
      (also selected for the 17th, 19th, 28th, 30th, 31st, 33rd, 35th, 36th, 37th, 38th and 39th)
    • 2000
      Invited to submit to the Asahi Modern Craft Exhibition
    • 2001
      Received the name and mark of the Fujina ware kiln in Matsue City that had been going on for three generations
      Started making ceramics with Fujina ware style designs as the Kajiyama Kiln
