While carrying on the style of Echizen ware, I try to add modern essence on producing my artwork.

- 1976 Born in Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture
- 2003 Completed training at the Industrial Technology Center of Fukui, Pottery Training Center
- 2004 Opened studio at his current address
- 2009 Started working at the Fukui Prefectural Museum of Ceramics as leader of the curatorial department
Started studying Echizen ware - 2012 Built a hole kiln
- 2015 Lecture "The Beginning to Present of Echizen Ware" at Museum of Modern Ceramic Art, Gifu
- 2016 Built a small hole kiln
- 2018 Selected for the Japan Ceramic Society Incentive Awards Hokuriku Exhibition
- 2019 Lecture "Taro Okamoto and Echizen" at Fukui Metro Theater
- 2020 Submitted to "Utsuwa from Hokuriku - Material and Forms of 19 Artists" Exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Crafts Itami
- 2022 Submitted to "Small Pieces to Decorate the New Year" Exhibition at Umeda Hanyu Main Store
