I aim to make dolls that express a story or its interiority such as manners and customs, rites and festivals, and events regardless of the time or country.

  • 1990 Studied under Nobuko Akiyama
  • 1995 Selected for the 13th Dolls Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time
  • 1996 Selected for the 25th Kinki Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time
    Selected for the 43rd Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time
  • 2002 Becomes Full Member of the Japan Kōgei Association
  • 2003 Judge at Arts and Crafts Association of Osaka (– 2020)
  • 2005 Judge at Arts and Crafts Association of Higashiosaka (– 2013)

  • 2009 Awarded as Person of Cultural Merit by Higashiosaka City
  • 2011 Awarded as Person of Merit in Crafts by Osaka Prefecture
  • 2018 Director of the Arts and Crafts Association of Osaka (– 2020)

  • 1993Received the Incentive Award at the Higashiosaka Arts and Crafts Exhibition
    Received the a total of 8 awards including the Chairman Award, Ikkei Award, Lions Club Award, Board of Education Award etc. up to 2002 from this year onward
