- 1960 Studied under metal-carving artist Takashi Osuga in Tokyo as his apprentice for 3 years
- 1967 Selected for the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition (Nitten) for the first time (selected 13 times)
- 1978 Sent to Europe for overseas training by Kyoto Prefecture
- 1979 Judge at the Kyo Exhibition ('85, '90, '95)
- 1981 Artwork submitted to Kyoto Kōgei Art Exhibition purchased by Kyoto Prefecture
Becomes Director of Kyoto Kogei Association - 1983 "Mansion in the White Fog" submitted to Nitten purchased by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
