1975 Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Crafts
1977 Completed the Master’s Degree for Ceramics at the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School
Studied under Yoshimichi Fujimoto and started training at his workshop
1981 Becomes Full Member of the Japan Kogei Association
1984 Establishes a kiln in current Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture and becomes independent
1986 Solo Exhibition at Nihombashi Mitsukoshi (11 times from this year onward)
1987 Solo Exhibition at Fujinoya, Tochigi (4 times from this year onward)
1994 Solo Exhibition at Osaka Takashimaya (3 times from this year onward)
