Biography
- 1950Born in Shizuoka Prefecture
- 1975Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Crafts
- 1977Completed the Master’s Degree for Ceramics at the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School
Studied under Yoshimichi Fujimoto and started training at his workshop - 1981Becomes Full Member of the Japan Kogei Association
- 1984Establishes a kiln in current Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture and becomes independent
- 1986Solo Exhibition at Nihombashi Mitsukoshi (11 times from this year onward)
- 1987Solo Exhibition at Fujinoya, Tochigi (4 times from this year onward)
