      Becomes an apprentice to Buddhist altar roiro (black lacquer) master OTSUKA, studies production and restoration of temples and Buddhist altar fittings
    • 2007
      Produces Buddhist altars at Furuichi Yoshito Buddhist Altar Shop
    • 2009
      Joins Takayama Kiyoshi Inc.
      Produces and restores Buddhist altars and Buddhist altar fittings
    • 2018
      Starts Hiroshima lacquerware division "Hiroshima Lacquerware Takayama Naoya"
      Studies base coating to roiro (black lacquer) on his own and starts producing lacquerware as a lacquering artist
