An artist making cloth from kudzu (arrowroot) fiber by extracting fiber from wild arrowroot vines, making thread, and weaving the threads into cloth. The warp and weft threads are woven in various ways using kasuri (splashed pattern) techniques and are combined to make unique three-dimensional and translucent textiles.
