- 1950Born in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture
- 1974Studies about glaze for 2 years at the Government Industrial Research Institute, Nagoya, Studies under WATANABE Isshin
- 1979Builds kiln "Rindo no Kama (Gentian Kiln) in Tamagawa, Chino CIty (Changes artist name to Sachiyo KOMATSU)
- 1980Selected for the East Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition, selected several times from this year onward
- 1982Selected for the Japan Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition, selected several times from this year onward
- 1990Studies under KATO Sakusuke
- 1991Selected for the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, selected several times from this year onward
- 1992Designated as Full Member of the Japan Kogei Association
