Style
I make kimonos, obi (kimono sashes) and dyed accessories using the itome (threadline) yuzen* method.
I enjoy trying to express things that I am attracted to in my work while also taking on new challenges.
* Itome yuzen: A yuzen dyeing technique where the outline of the patterns are drawn with glue resistant. After dyeing and washing out the dye, the white outlines remain like itome (threadlines).
