I am very grateful to receive the Shimane Governor Award. Thank you very much.
I feel very thankful to be able to live and create textiles amidst the beautiful nature of Shimane.
I dyed raw silk threads with gromwell root and expressed a moonlit summer night with horaro gauze weave. I will continue to strive to make cool summer kimonos that flutter in the breeze.
