Comment on Award
I was charmed by the power of the waterfowls splashing the water as they take off and the strong beauty of the flock flying to the distance, and tried to express this in this textile. I feel deeply moved by the animals' single-minded devotion to live and the power of nature.
I used the staggered kasuri technique to express the bubbles and the curved lines of the birds. Like the waterfowls, I would like to work hard and move forward as much as possible.
