About the Artwork

I selected a specially beautiful part of persimmon wood and made this piece considering the harmony of the shape and the wood grain patterns.
On the sides, I carved some thin lines to add a nice touch to the shape.
On the inside, I applied layers of gold leaf with wiped urushi, and finished it with gold powder.
