Mainly producing porcelain. Being charmed by the colors of the rivers in Azumino, Nagano where I grew up, I mainly produce seihakuji (pale blue porcelain). I use styluses and bamboo sticks that I make myself to carve patterns to detail. The shape of the vessel is also very important to me.

Dedicated to Hotaka Shrine in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture
I formed the vase on a potter's wheel, dried it, carved the chrysanthemum pattern and bisque fired it. After coloring and firing, I applied some more glaze and fired it again.
