Mainly producing porcelain. Being charmed by the colors of the rivers in Azumino, Nagano where I grew up, I mainly produce seihakuji (pale blue porcelain). I use styluses and bamboo sticks that I make myself to carve patterns to detail. The shape of the vessel is also very important to me.

I formed the vase on a potter's wheel and after drying, carved the pussy willow design and bisque fired the vase. I colored it, fired it, applied some more glaze and fired it again.
