I try to make original designs based on tradition. I mainly use the cellar kiln to make high-fired unglazed ceramics. I also use ash glaze, white slip, oribe glaze and kairagi glazing* techniques. *Kairagi glazing: the glaze not being fired thoroughly to become crinkled like shark skin.
